Travel is supposed to feel free. Connectivity is supposed to feel boring — there, working, invisible. For two decades it wasn't. We're the eSIM company for people who want both back.
It started with a $387 bill in Tokyo.
In 2024, our founder landed at Haneda with no SIM plan. He fired up roaming for "just a few hours" of maps and emails. Three days later: $387.
The eSIM market existed. He tried four of them. Two failed to install. One throttled to dial-up. One worked, but cost more than buying a local SIM at the kiosk he was trying to avoid in the first place.
We built dodoesim because the bar was on the floor. Real network priority instead of cheapest-wholesale routing. Pricing that's the same number at the top of the page and at checkout. Humans you can chat with when something goes wrong at 2 AM in a country where you don't speak the language.
That's it. The whole pitch is: we want travel to feel free again, and we'd rather build a small, focused, honest product than a big one that nickel-and-dimes you for top-ups.
